There was a little girl, and one day she met a giraffe. The giraffe grew attached and followed her all the way home. Her dad wasn’t sure what to do with the giraffe. He couldn’t keep it in the apartment, and there wasn’t really any room in the complex without getting in trouble. During the night, the giraffe would come to visit the little family and leave right before the sun rose.
One night the giraffe came to the balcony and noticed that the little girl didn’t greet him as she usually does. He looked inside the shallow apartment and noticed there were new people. The family was all lying on the ground, and it looked like they were in trouble. He took the strangers out one by one as they all came out to smoke or take a phone call on the balcony, leaving only one guy left. He reached in with his long neck and pulled the guy out by the back of his jacket, gently dropping him into the pool. The giraffe started making noise to get the attention of the neighbors so they could call 911.
As the cops pulled up, the giraffe disappeared into the forest. He returned the next night, and the little girl gave him a super cape to wear.
“You saved our lives”, she said with a smile and hugged him.
“Thank you”
