The Language of Relics

Updated: Oct 6

The idea has been bouncing around in my head for a bit. I got around to fleshing it out the other day.

In the beginning, we had creatures that played a great part in the preservation of our society, one of these creatures was a Thesaurus. Yes, it’s a dinosaur. The Thesaurus would sit around campfires with the local people, hear their stories, and take records of them. These creatures lived on for years and died with each civilization, leaving behind their relics. The relic was the size of a beanbag chair and when you broke it down and analyzed it, you would find the language that the dinosaur learned from that particular culture. We eventually found the original dinosaur that had all the translating capabilities and a set of master instructions. This helped us to get way further than we had before. Whenever we found one of these dinosaurs, it helped us to actually learn what we found in the area’s surroundings.

These dinosaurs later evolved into huge computers, where they would be able to record a lot more in a record time.
