Life and it’s greater depth

I painted this painting after my Mother In Law’s passing. With each passing of a loved one, I reflect on the path that person walked and what lives on beyond it. With my Grandparents, it was their wisdom, their ambition, my Grandpa with his ability to building something extraordinary with wood and my Grandmother’s ability to see the things that required precise attention to detail and care. My daughter and son and how such a brief moment in my life, i can feel so much love that has no bounds. My Great Grandmother and her quirkiness and her ability to work through trying moments even with mysterious health situations. My Uncle Floyd for his ability to play and teach music in a way that even beyond his life, his music still plays as strong, my Uncle Jimmy for the clarity of his misunderstood life that became more clear as the medical community brought neurodivergence and it’s uniqueness to light. My Best Friend and how even when he was going through the deepest depression, still was there for people in their darkest of moments.
